BNVD-1431
The BNVD1431 binocular, manufactured in the FYURI Night Vision laboratory, is a standard binocular that meets military specifications. Using components sourced from around the world and Israel, this binocular delivers reliability and high performance, comparable to more expensive systems.
The design of the BNVD1431 binocular closely resembles the popular PVS-31 binocular, known in the IDF as the "Ido." This is no coincidence, as the BNVD1431 is essentially a version of the PVS-31 but with PVS-14 lenses, which have proven their reliability and versatility. Hence, the device is named BNVD-14-31.
The relatively lightweight design reduces neck strain, allowing the user to perform tasks more efficiently. Its unique structure enables convenient and compact storage on the user’s head by folding the eyepieces to the sides, thus preventing unnecessary collisions with the environment.
The binocular offers three operating modes: On, On with IR, and Auto IR activation as needed. Binoculars equipped with image brightness control also feature a brightness dial.
The BNVD1431 binocular operates with a pair of NNVT Gen 2+ white phosphor image intensifier tubes, delivering image quality comparable to Gen 3 with a Figure of Merit (FOM) of 1600 (the higher, the better) and an autogating function (prevents glare). NNVT image intensifier tubes are used by security forces worldwide, typically with lower FOM values of 1200-1400, but FYURI Night Vision offers you higher image quality with FOM 1600, with options for upgrades to FOM 1800, 2000, or even Gen 3.
